Positions within the ELMCIP project

The University of Bergen (January 2011- August 2012)
The main individual project of UIB within ELMCIP is the development of an online knowledge base containing project proceedings, project publications and event documentation, as well as functioning as a searchable archive of information about European electronic literature. For this work the UIB seeks a post-doc for 20 month period from September 2010 to May 2012. The post-doc will be responsible for bibliographic and development work on the online knowledge base, and related research on bibliographic approaches to archiving and disseminating digital artifacts.

The Edinburgh College of Art (September 2010-May 2013)
ECA's individual project within ELMCIP amounts to conducting a full ethnographic study to gather information on the interpretation and performativity of 'creativity' by electronic literature practionioner - both amateur and professional within Europe and overseas. ECA will also be responsible for a number of visual design tasks related to the project's online, DVD, and print publications.

ECA offers a full three year PhD studentship. The doctoral student will work on practical design projects related to the ELMCIP project and to his or her own digital arts practice and will assist the post-doctoral research fellow in setting up, conducting and analyzing the finding from the ethnographic case studies.

The Blekinge Institute of Technology (January 2011- December 2011)
The individual project of BTH within the ELMCIP collaboration consists creating an DVD anthology of electronic literature and host a workshop on e-lit pedagogy.
BTH seeks a post-doc for 1 year period from September 2010 to September 2011. The post-doc will work on identifying pedagogical models, conduct research on electronic literature anthologies and do editorial work on the DVD-anthology.
